Carbon-X Whole House Air Purifier is an in-duct PCO (Photocatalytic Oxidation) UV air purifier with activated carbon. The purifier is installed into your home’s ductwork of the central air system where it purifies the air as it passes by with UV-C Germicidal light and activated carbon that is 50% more powerful at removing VOCs, germs, and odors from your home with no ozone produced while doing so.

What Is Photocatalytic Oxidation?

Photocatalytic Oxidation is the oxidation of titanium from pure metal into titanium dioxide. When this process takes place, super-oxide ions are produced, as well as hydroxyl radicals. These aggressively combat toxic VOCs and noxious odors in your home, greatly reducing them in a very short period of time.

What Are VOCs?

VOCs (volatile organic compounds) are unhealthy to toxic compounds found in everyday household items, such as rugs, furniture and cleaning products. 14″ UV-C Germicidal bulb with a lifespan of approximately 9,000 hours and will need to be replaced annually.
13” Carbon-X filter is maintenance free as the activated carbon is charged by the UV rays. Filter fits ducts with a minimum 13” diameter.
